The stereo buttons on my steering wheel are broke, is there anything I can do to fix this myself without having to bring it to mechanic?

I purchased my first car (Hyundai Getz 05) and the steering wheel buttons for the stereo are broke. None of them work and I am just wondering is this something I can fix myself? I have done some work on the car and I am not willing to spend money to fix it in a garage. If this is something I can fix myself can someone please give me a brief description on how to do so.
