It wasn’t long ago that stories about Nissan’s demise dominated the headlines. The company’s on its third CEO in the last 36 months or so. Tens of thousands of employees have been released as part of multibillion dollar cost-cutting efforts.
Additionally, it’s been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Honda aimed at saving the company. However, CEO Ivan Espinosa’s been revamping the company’s lineup, teamed up with partner Mitsubishi Motors on some product sharing efforts, and just posted its 16th consecutive month of increasing sales in the U.S.
So we ask … do you think Nissan’s going to make it? Or will it take Mitsubishi down with it like a drowning swimmer does a lifeguard? Let us know what you think.
